Sailing to Odessa. Dinner and wine last night were
excellent. After dinner drinks over the veranda with our new neighbours,
Julian and Josilyn, from California where they own a vineyard in the
Napa Valley. Clouds and rain sailing up to Odessa. Not looking forward
to tonight's specialty menu - Delights of Ukraine - with great
anticipation. Borscht, poroghies, salo, holubtsi (stuffed cabbage),
holodets (boiled jellied pork)? Who knows but I guess people don't come
to Ukraine for the cuisine.
